Nancy Murphy is the founder of Artful Team-Building and a professionally trained facilitator with over 30 years of experience in communication, mediation, and group dynamics.

A former owner of the largest divorce mediation firm in San Diego and a nine-time author, she brings deep expertise in guiding meaningful conversation and collaboration.

As a working artist who has sold over 400 original paintings and been featured in major media outlets, she uniquely combines psychology, facilitation, and visual creativity to deliver structured, outcome-driven team-building experiences for corporate clients.

Joe Murphy, Lead Team-Building Facilitator

Joe Murphy is a lead team-building facilitator with Artful-Team Building, where he plays a key role in designing and guiding structured, people-centered experiences that strengthen trust, collaboration, and organizational effectiveness.

Prior to his work with Artful-Team Building, Mr. Murphy led global human resources (HR) functions for Entegris, where he served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources beginning in 2005. In that role, he was responsible for global talent strategy, compensation and benefits programs, recruiting and retention initiatives, and organization development across a workforce of more than 3,500 employees in 37 locations spanning 10 countries.

Before joining Entegris, Mr. Murphy held senior global HR leadership positions across multiple industries, including roles with Cadence Design Systems, Ericsson, and General Electric, where he served for a combined 20 years. Throughout his career, he worked closely with executive leadership teams to support large-scale organizational change, mergers and acquisitions, leadership development, and workforce alignment.

At Artful-Team Building, Mr. Murphy brings decades of experience in human behavior, leadership dynamics, and organizational systems to facilitate meaningful team-building experiences that help teams reconnect, communicate more effectively, and work together with greater clarity and purpose.

Mr. Murphy holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
